Giving to a good cause

Everyone is healthy so far! So we have been busy getting little presents ready for a program called Sheltering Wings. They provide emergency housing for women and children suffering from any form of domestic abuse. They build stable and independent lives through essential programs offered in a supportive and Christ-centered environment. I had to be careful to explain it to my little ones. They were just happy to help out! I had them fill all 20 bags. We are going to partner with a good friend of ours, Sarah, who is a 2nd grade teacher. Her 20 students will make cards to go with each bag.  There are lots of smellie good things, nice make up, lotions, and most importantly chocolate!  We are also going to give the children of these women some Buddies soaps and toothbrushes and toothpaste from sweet Dr. Wells (Sarah's daddy).

What a great way to celebrate the season...giving to those in need!
