Drive-Thru Math

My boys have always loved Mommy's idea of the drive-thru window at our house.  We do it every spring.  They usually drive their bikes through, but lately they have been walking and standing on a bench outside the window.

I take their order.  They pull on up "to the next window" to pay and pick up their treat.  This day it was a Twinkie and milk.  They have never had one before, so I surprised them when that was on "the menu" at my restaurant!  They were playing with Daddy's earmuffs, too!   Their favorite thing to order is usually a popsicle.  Sometimes it's even their lunch.

This is a great way for Andrew to practice counting money! What a fun way to do math!  It's also a fun way to teach good manners!
