Wednesday was back to school for the kids around here. I know there was a lot of talk and excitement from some people we knew. I didn't want Andrew to feel left out, so this is what we did! We had a Happy Not Yet! Back to School Day! First, they woke up to donuts for breakfast on the back patio.
We went to the park and played. We had our lunch there.
Then we went for free milkshakes at Steak N Shake and a free book at Half Price Books (gift cards from their summer reading program).
We had a fun day. I have decided to do this every year! I make their first day of school a big day. I have some fun things planned for that day, as well. But for now, we will enjoy the rest of our summer!
