One goal I have for next year is teaching my boys Godly character traits. I wanted to create something visual to be used during our school time. With the help from Hubbard's Cupboard info on character, I created this!

My plan is to laminate each page. We will focus on one each week, so I will have that on our morning board. There's a lot you can do with each of these. This can get you started!
Enjoy! Oh, and please let me know if you see any mistakes!

Looks good! :)
Fantastic! : ) Thank you so much for sharing them.
So cute! You did a great job! :) They remind me of Hubbards Cupboard a little. They have some things that might go along with what you've created. Here's the link if you've never seen it:

Hi, thanks so much for sharing these, they look great, I'm off to print!
That was an excellent resource for me to use when I made this. I should have credited them earlier, so I just did. I'm not so new to this blog thing to post updates for family and friends, but I am new to the whole sharing my ideas out there in the blog world!
Help with character is always appreciated. Thanks for the file. Enjoyed visiting your site.
I know what you mean! I am new to it too. :)
Your blog is really sweet. I'll be popping in again!
Hi, Sarah. I like the pages you've created. Very nice! I've been working on Godly character with my 4 and 7 year-olds. I found a set of books called "A Child's Book of Character Building: Growing Up in God's World - At Home, at School, at Play" by Ron & Rebekah Coriell. For each character trait they site a verse then give a story and full page picture (black & white drawing) showing how the character trait was used in the Bible, at home, at school, and at play. We try to go over a story each day while we are eating lunch. My boys really like it. So, if you did a story each day, that would take four days to cover one character trait. The last day of the week could be reviewing what you went over the other four days. Book 1 covers these character traits: attentive, faith, creative, diligence, patience, contentment, obedience, wisdom, tenderhearted, thankfulness, honesty, and joyfulness. Book 2 covers meekness, loyalty, responsibility, self-control, orderliness, discernment, forgiveness, fairness, tolerance, initiative, love, and generosity. I think book two is out of print, so you'd have to buy it used. I think I found my at Amazon.com for pretty cheap. For older kids (maybe 8+), Proverbs People by Rick and Marilyn Boyer is good.
Thanks again for sharing this with us!
Julie
P.S. Your boys are absolutely adorable! What smiles!
